Check the Nexus site (and the other one) and just look for mods that have been made compatible for the version you are running. Off course it 'might' also be an issue if you try to use Steam Workshop mods on the GOG version of the game? (Are there any of those currently?).īut in general the stuff in my stickied post still mostly works. So that is probably what you are seeing OP. So not only do we (i still count myself as one, even if i have not looked at doing any NMS mods for a while now) have to use user created tools to even be able to mod the game, but each and every update and patch we often need to rebuild the mods from scratch to make them work with the latest current version. They made it extremely cumbersome for third party modders, in part due to Sean's own uncertainties over allowing modding in the first place (he is on record in some interview talking about this).
