If my memory serves me correctly and after looking through past tickets, basically what was going on was this driver conflict was caused by 2 audio applications being on the system 1) your standard Windows Audio controller and the generic audio driver, 2) Dell Audio, which installs the RealTek Audio driver. Can you help me out with driver conflict that you found that resolved the issue, I have done countless research on google and it appears you are the only one I have seen that also had the issue.
Some of them had the motherboard and speakers replaced which seemed to resolve the issue, but I am still having a few that the only fix I found has been to reboot the machine. I have been having the same issue with my DELL 7440's, I have about 40 of these deployed about 12 having the issue, the latest realtek driver recommended by dell causes the BSOD, I have tried BIOS flashes.
